Before you start....
The calculators provided on this site allow Contributing Members and Employer Representatives to obtain a preliminary calculation on certain GEPF benefits payable as a result of Resignation, Retirement and Severance Package.
The calculators are applicable to GEPF members only and the AIPF, TEPF, Medical Subsidy , Military Pensions and Special Pension Funds are currently excluded from the calculations.
In
order to perform
any calculation, the
following information must
be available and entered correctly into the system:
- PERSAL number
- Date of Birth
- Pensionable Service Period
- Final Salary
- Service Code
- Withdrawal Reason
- Expected Date of Withdrawal from the Fund
Pensionable Service Period is the number of full years and fractions of a year that you were employed and contributions made to the GEPF. Periods of additional Service Purchased must be added and periods for Leave Without Pay must be deducted.
Final Salary is the average of your pensionable salary (emoluments) over the last 24 months, or during the whole period of such service, if shorter than 24 months. Only allowances that are specified as Pensionable Allowances must be taken into account.

estimation based on the information provided, and is not a
guaranteed payment;
- Whilst every effort has been made to
ensure the accuracy of the information contained herein, the GEPF
gives no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy,
reliability and completeness of any information, formulae or
calculations provided through the use of the calculators, and does
not accept any liability for any loss or damage (whether direct,
indirect, special or consequential) which may be suffered as a
result of reliance on and use of the calculators;
- The calculation does not account for any
interest payable/receivable, taxation, Purchase of Service Debt,
upscaling, downscaling of service periods or any other
supplementary amounts;
- Input parameters should be confirmed with HR Representatives at your Department.
